Tasting - 2013 Tarima Blanco

Name: Tarima Blanco
Variety: 70% Mereseguera, 20% Viura, 10% Moscatel
Region: Alicante
Country: Spain
Year: 2013
Price: $8.95

Winery review: "Since first hitting the market in 2011, this blend of Merseguera, Viura and Moscatel has been improving. This vintage marks a high point. Aromas of apple and peach are followed by a textured palate, while flavors of apple and citrus are mild. The finish is bouncy, weighty and straightforward in flavor." - Michael Schachner 87 points

My review: Best nose of the tasting, aromas of pears, apples and citrus. A fruit basket blend, with hints of mango, and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake type of smell. On the plate the wine is slightly tart, with a more citrus flavor of pineapples and mangoes.

This wine was tasted without food.
